Keep At It

I've heard the expression 'Rome wasn't built in a day.' Sometimes people use this as a way to rationalize their procrastination. Maybe the phrase should go something like, 'Rome wasn't built in a day, but they sure as heck tried.'

Comments welcome.

Plus who was counting the number of days anyway?

The best thing is to follow Nike and, "Just Do It!"

Good point. I like the saying "Easy does it - but DO it!"

The fact is that Rome was not built in a day. It is also true that Rome was built.

It may not have been built in a day....but just think if it was. The quality would have been so bad we wouldn't have any of the beautiful monuments that we have today. YOu sometimes need the extra time to get that quality in there to make it perfect and right :)

Funny, I've heard this phrase plenty of times, but I don't think I have ever used it myself.
